An ad concept conjured up by Lazaro Advertising, The “Ashte Na?” and the “Ashte Ri” was a bilingual ad campaign for VBHC (Value Budget Housing Corporation) as a part of their launch in Bangalore,“Ashte Na?” and “Ashte Ri” being purely colloquial terms which simply translates to “That’s it?” and “That’s it!”, respectively. “Ashte na?” being the teaser ad and “Ashte Ri” being the reveal. This was shot on a very simple setup consisting of 2 Elinchrom lights, a diffuser and a Canon 7D and a 550D. All the models in the ads were friends and family simply because we wanted to avoid professional models for this shoot, reason being, this was a “people’s campaign” (corny as that may sound, we believed that it would work... and it did!). The campaign was very region centric, mostly was used outdoors in south of Bangalore.
